Lilian has an MBA from Edinburgh Business school of Heriot-Watt University, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) UK, a member Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA, U) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting degree. She has gained immense experience in accounting and financial management from working in both the NGO and the private sector in Kenya and Uganda since 1999.
Lilian joined ACLAIM Africa Limited in 2003 as an Accounting Consultant and rose to be a Senior Accounting Consultant and Assistant Team Leader in ACLAIM’s Financial Services Bureau Department. She later served as a Senior Financial Consultant and Trainer before being promoted to the position of Finance Manager and Team Leader of ACLAIM’s Financial Services Bureau. She currently works with Traidlinks as the Commercial Finance Manager.
Lilian has a passion for supporting SMEs and seeing them thrive and be sustainable ventures. For this reason, she support’s business owners and mentors them to set up sustainable financial and business management systems. On her Facebook page The Accountancy and Business Clinic. Lilian writes the weekly #professionalizeyourbusiness series whose aim is to give advice to and train Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on how to run their businesses professionally. Lilian is a QuickBooks Accounting software re-seller and Trainer.
